Introduction: The Chemistry department stands as a cornerstone within the college, holding a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape. Chemistry is offered at both the subsidiary and special levels as part of the three-year undergraduate course (B.Sc.) and the two-year postgraduate course (M.Sc. Organic Chemistry). The department boasts a team of 5 dedicated regular teaching faculties, complemented by 4 contributory teachers and supported by 4 technical staff members. Additionally, we collaborate with visiting faculties from neighboring colleges to enrich our academic environment. Our laboratories, distinct for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, are meticulously maintained, well-equipped, and furnished. We consistently strive to enhance our facilities by incorporating cutting-edge digital and microprocessor-based equipment. The department operates with a set of clear aims and objectives to guide its mission.
